🕊️🌸 EASTER SUNDAY 2025 🌸🕊️
At our Easter Sunday service at Harrisdale, children kicked things off by unveiling a cross bursting with flowers, symbolising new life. The cross-shaped communion tables from Good Friday, once solemn, were transformed into a vibrant display of hope!
Pastor Dave (yes, in a giant egg costume 🥚) had us cracking up at his egg-cellent puns before we joined in powerful praise, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus and the eternal life we’ve been offered.
Following on from Good Friday Senior Pastor Peter Scott shared a moving message, "Condemned... No Longer", reminding us of the freedom and hope we have in Christ.
We wrapped it up with an Easter feast for morning tea - and heartfelt connection with new and familiar faces 🥰🩷🌼🌸🌺🕊️

✝️ GOOD FRIDAY 2025 ✝️
We kicked off Good Friday at Harrisdale with worship, followed by a moving dance performance that had us all reflecting on the weight of the Cross.
Pastor Peter had a powerful message on what it means to be Condemned—and how Jesus flipped the script, trading our death sentence for freedom and eternal life.
Pastor Nick led us in Communion, gathered around a cross-shaped table, and many lit candles in quiet response. After the service we caught up with one another over a feast of hot cross buns! 🏚️✝️❤️

On Friday at Harrisdale, we gathered to reflect on the weight of the cross in part one of Senior Pastor Peter Scott's message: "Condemned... No Longer."
We remembered the sacrifice that changed everything — how Jesus bore our condemnation so we could walk in freedom. Shame, guilt, and judgment were nailed to the cross, and in Christ, we are no longer condemned.

✨ HE IS RISEN! ✨
Today is about more than just chocolate eggs and bunny rabbits... On Easter Sunday we celebrate Christ defeating death on the cross! We thank God for the resurrection of Jesus, which offers us hope and the promise of eternal life. That's why Friday is actually Good, and on Easter Sunday we are so Happy!
You and your family are welcome to join us this morning for our celebration services at Harrisdale at 9:30am or Forrestdale at 10am.

At Carey we have great bunch of vibrant Seniors who love to get together every fortnight to chat over a cuppa at Timber Cafe. School holidays don't count when you're a senior (except maybe a bit more time spent with the grandkids!), so our Seniors Coffee & Chat continues to meet regardless! The next one is this coming Tuesday 22 April. If you're a senior looking for some company and friendship, you're welcome to join in. We meet in the Timber Board Room at the Carey Centre in Harrisdale from 10am - 12pm on either a Tuesday or Friday (alternating), so there's sure to be a day to suit you ☕️☕️☕️
